While the world is obsessed with artificial intelligence, markets, and exponential technologies, more than 32 million people in Latin America cannot read or write.
This is not a statistic to me.
It is a structural failure of our civilization.
And I decided to design something to change it.
I AM A DESIGNER. THIS IS A DESIGN PROBLEM.
I am Yanina Vallejos.
I am a Latin American designer of systems, models, and technologies.
I do not approach problems as charity.
I approach them as design failures.
Illiteracy is not a lack of intelligence.
It is not a lack of effort.
It is not a cultural defect.
It is the result of systems that were never designed for millions of human beings.
And every failed system represents an opportunity to build a better one.

A person who cannot read:

I am designing a platform that allows people to learn to read using the one device they already trust and use every day: their mobile phone.
Not a school.
Not a classroom.
Not an institution.

Reading emerges naturally when people recognize their own voice in written form.
THIS IS NOT EDTECH. THIS IS HUMAN INFRASTRUCTURE.
I am not building another educational app.
I am building infrastructure for human communication.
Once a person can read:
